1. About This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is collected, used and protected in connection with services offered under Lagadishi Webdesign & Hosting, a registered trade name of Trupiaal.

For processing where Trupiaal determines the purposes and means, Trupiaal is the data controller. This Policy applies specifically to Lagadishi Webdesign & Hosting and does not automatically apply to other services or trade names operated by Trupiaal. This Policy applies to Lagadishi websites that link to it, including lagadishi.com and plans.hosting.lagadishi.com.

2. Personal Data We May Collect

• Contact and identification information: name, company/organization, email, telephone and contact details.
• Billing and administrative information: billing details, business address where required, VAT/tax information, invoices, transactions and account administration.
• Project and service information: form submissions, project requirements, website/domain information, correspondence, support requests and access information necessary to provide an agreed service.
• Account information connected to hosting, domains, maintenance, subscriptions, invoices and support.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser/device/operating system, referrer, access date/time, system activity, security and diagnostic information.

We may receive data directly from you, through contact and quotation forms, quotations and orders, the client portal, email or telephone, support and maintenance activities, website/server technologies, relevant service providers, or where otherwise permitted or required by law.

• Design/develop websites and provide hosting, maintenance, domains, email and technical services

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the circumstances, processing may rely on performance of a contract or pre-contract steps, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override individual rights, or consent where required. Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

6. Quotations, Contact Forms & Communications

Information submitted in inquiries or quote requests is used to respond and assess requirements. A quotation request does not itself create a service agreement. Relevant communications may be retained where reasonably necessary for administration, records, dispute prevention or legal compliance.

7. Client Portal, Hosting & Domain Services

External systems and infrastructure may be used for customer accounts, billing, hosting, domain registration, service provisioning, payments and technical administration. Necessary information may therefore be processed by relevant third-party providers. Lagadishi takes reasonable steps to use appropriate providers.

8. Payments

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Lagadishi does not normally receive or store complete payment-card details where those details are entered directly into a third-party payment system.

9. Hosting & Maintenance Client Data

When providing hosting, maintenance or technical administration, Lagadishi may have technical access to websites, databases, backups or systems containing personal data controlled by the Client. In such circumstances the Client may be the controller and Trupiaal/Lagadishi may act as processor. Where required, processing should be governed by an appropriate Data Processing Agreement.

10. Sharing Personal Data

Lagadishi does not sell personal data. Data may be shared where reasonably necessary with providers supporting hosting, domains, billing/client management, payments, email/communications, website security, backups, technical services and professional administration, or where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

11. International Data Transfers

Some providers may process information outside the Netherlands or European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used, such as adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

12. Data Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose or where law requires longer retention. Periods vary for inquiries, quotations, active Clients, completed projects, hosting/maintenance, domain administration, billing/accounting, legal disputes and security records. Data no longer required may be deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of where appropriate.

Lagadishi takes reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data. Depending on the service, measures may include access controls, account security, software updates, security monitoring, backups, SSL/TLS encryption and threat monitoring. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

14. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Lagadishi websites may use cookies and similar technologies necessary for operation, security and functionality. Additional technologies may be used for preferences, analytics or other purposes where appropriate. 15. Search & SEO Tools

Lagadishi may use search-performance and SEO tools to monitor visibility, indexing and technical search performance. Use of such tools does not necessarily mean visitor-level advertising or analytics tracking is installed. Any tracking actually used will be addressed in the Cookie Policy and consent configuration where applicable.

16. Marketing Communications

Optional direct marketing will be sent in accordance with applicable requirements. Where consent is required, appropriate consent will be used and recipients may unsubscribe. Service-related messages about projects, accounts, invoices, hosting, domains or maintenance are not optional marketing merely because they are sent by email.

Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, individuals may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority. Lagadishi services are primarily intended for businesses, organizations and adults seeking digital services. Lagadishi does not knowingly intend to collect children’s personal data through its general website services without an appropriate legal basis or authorization where required.
